Milestones in CIS
• 1991 - Mars entered the CIS market.
• 1994 - Сonstruction of the confectionery factory in Stupino (Moscow region) began. Regional expansion - offices in Vladivostok, Novosibirsk, Tashkent, Ekaterinburg, Samara, Krasnodar, Kiev, Minsk, St.Petersburg.
• 1995 – First saleable “MARS” bar produced. Petfood production started in Luzhniki, Stupino district.
• 1996 - Official opening of the confectionery factory
• 1998 - Office in Almaty
• 2002 - Petfood production started in Novosibirsk
• 2005 - Official opening of ready made soups plant in Lukhovitsy
• 2007 - investments - about $1 Bln, number of associates - more than 3000
